We are configured to deliver a complete development service for our Clients, from land identification and appraisal through to handover and after care. This is an exciting position at a senior level within the company, with the possibility of it commencing at or progressing to Director level rather than Senior Manager level for a suitably experienced candidate. The role of Senior Technical Manager /Director is a key function within our Company as we seek to deliver multiple projects in line with our business plan predominantly in the residential sector but also encompassing commercial, educational, health, care and retail sectors. A knowledge and appreciation of budgets and the delivery of projects to allow the company to meet its business objectives is a key attribute of this Senior role.
Likely to have a background from a residential developer you will be familiar with overseeing the Technical function from a managerial perspective. This involves all aspects of taking a potential development from inception and land acquisition, or tendering, through the pre-development stages and onto the build out and completion including satisfying all associated planning and legal requirements and overseeing design teams, Consultants, specialist subcontractors and other regulatory bodies. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, and ideally have an extensive network of contacts within the sector, together with the ability to build relationships and trust with key contacts, stakeholders and internal departments.
The role will be based at our Llanelli head office but will require regular travel to our Cardiff office and for site visits and meetings and interaction with Clients and external bodies.
