Career: Bid Writer/Coordinator

The successful Candidate will be a team player with excellent written communication skills to join the bid department at our Llanelli office. A keen eye for detail and the ability to translate technical information into easily-digestible content will be beneficial. Prior knowledge of the construction industry is desirable but not essential as training and mentoring will be provided.

The successful candidate will ultimately take responsibility for understanding and preparing responses for pre-qualification framework and tender submissions. The role, by its very nature, is subject to tight immovable deadlines requiring a high degree of co-ordination, planning, multi-tasking and time management. The ability to produce accurate, specific, highly professional responses either as stand-alone or as part of a bid team is vital. The role also requires the individual to continuously improve the written submission content “raising the bar” each time. This role could be suitable for a Graduate entry level.

The candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to work well with others and demonstrate an ability to manage the bid response process.
