Morganstone has been appointed by the Pobl Group as the Principal Contractor and Principal Designer for the new development of residential properties to be sited on the junction of Mill Street and Commercial Street in Pontymister, Risca, Caerphilly.

Historically, two houses were located on the north eastern part of the site. A larger building was constructed on the southern part of the site in the early 1900’s. These buildings have recently been demolished. The site boundaries comprise a car parking area and Mill Street to the east, surrounding residential and commercial properties to the west and north, and Commercial Street to the south. The site is accessed from either Commercial Street or Mill Street.

The scheme consists of 34 residential units, comprising 6 x one bedroom apartments (two to be assisted living); 13 x two-bedroom apartments (four to be assisted living); 7 x two-bedroom houses (six to be open market) and 8 x three bedroom (Three to be open market). 34 off-street parking spaces and 8 garage/undercroft parking spaces.
